Inspiration Behind the Crate
Wild flowers and plants are the life support for all Scotland’s wildlife and their color and character brighten mountains, glens, lochs and islands.

Walking around the Scottish coast in summer you cannot help but stand in awe of the colors of the wildflowers, from the twinkling gold of tormentil, to the silent chorus of blue harebells rippling in the coastal winds.

However, your senses only tell part of the story. Uncovering the tales behind the flowers’ names and the healing properties in the Scottish folklores add another layer of magic and intrigue.

We have custom designed a Scottish Wildflower book for this one of a kind special crate so that the recipient can dive in and discover the magic of the Scottish Highlands and the beauty and meaning behind each Scottish Wildflower and their significance to Scottish History.

The Inspiration Behind the Crate
Spoil the mom to be with this adorable Scottish Inspired Gift Crate. Featuring our exclusive handmade Lochness Monster (more commonly known in Scotland as Nessie.) Our luxurious Bamboo Cotton blend Swaddle inspired by Scotland’s woodlands with an adorable woodland animal print. We included a little pamper treat for the mom to be to ensure she feels relaxed and has time for some much needed TLC. ( this crate has a little surprise White Tea Vanilla Tea Drop hidden at the bottom of the crate underneath the filler for the mom to be to enjoy.) The Lochness Monster Story (Nessie)
The first recorded sighting of our famous Loch Ness Monster (or Nessie as we like to call her) was in 565 AD! Nessie was said to have appeared from the deep Loch Ness waters. Here she snatched up and ate a servant, before being forced back into the waters by his master, St Columba. Over the years, more rumors spread far and wide of other such ‘strange events’ at Loch Ness. Many believed in the water Kelpies and the Each-Uisge, (meaning ‘water horse’) a water spirit in Scottish folklore. These ancient Scottish myths about such water creatures contributed to the notion of a creature living in the depths of Loch Ness.
